classics for your morning commute. She’s a little bit blonde
and he’s a little bit red neck!
Mary Kaye, native San Antonian from the south side; began
radio in 1981, doing voice over work. Went on to own KYTY,
Star Radio, in 1988. Retired, but God called her out of
retirement for such a time as this.
We believe God called us to provide San Antonio with a
station that would reach out to our city in a very personal
way. Married for over 30+ years to the humble and statuesque
My Wade, they have two offspring, that is children, Kimberly
and Nicholas.

My Wade, native San Antonian, southeast side. Began in radio
in 1981 as a broadcast engineer building several broadcast
facilities in the South Texas area. In 1988, We put KYTY,
Am810, on the air and ran the station for most of the years
until retiring in 1995. Then along with Mary Kaye felt God’s
urging to reformat the station and manage it as Star Radio
until present. Married to the vivacious, effervescent, and
decidedly blonde, Mary Kaye for 30+ years, share the above
mentioned offspring with Mary Kaye. |
